Fusing the social media giant and an independent website together, creative web company designs interactive Facebook page for eco-friendly architecture group.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 03, 2012

Excela Creative, sub-division of business services company Excela, For Everything Business, has launched a new website on Facebook for client, eco-friendly architecture and design group pH Living™ (www.phliving.me). The new site is designed to fit entirely within a Facebook page and made specifically for the Facebook platform, offering a fusion of interconnectedness between the social media site and an independent website, all the while maintaining a professional look and feel.

Excela Creative (www.excelacreative.com) aims to be on the forefront of a new era of social media interconnectedness, offering custom applications for sites and unique Facebook compatibility. Everything designed for clients is custom for each brand and is completely specialized in its design and development.

Aiming to work outside of the box with the coding and development of the site and using a completely custom design strategy, Excela Creative has produced a fully functioning independent website and social media campaign housed within the Facebook community.

The new Facebook website features a left hand Facebook sub-navigation bar that reflects the integrated right hand navigation of the pH Living™ site. It also includes a custom drop down internal navigation within the site, a specifically designed Flickr integrated slideshow effect on the home page and dynamic movement of text and pictures in order to work with the 520-pixel width of a standard Facebook app page.

For the client, Excela Creative implemented a theme for the site based on the actual pH scale offering color-coded subpages on the left hand Facebook navigation, and designed a five-page custom, interactive questionnaire form.

"Our idea to fuse the social media site and an independent website sprang from the desire for an interconnected community to be able to interact and view a professional website all in one forum," said Excela CEO Dexter Hutchison. "The client designs housing that caters specifically to people within the Multiple Chemical Sensitivities community, and so this custom website offers the community access to all the information they may need from the company and resources on the topic, combined with the opportunity to interact with others in the community."

Previous integrated Facebook apps from Excela Creative include a fan-gated video contest garnering hundreds of Facebook likes and a custom designed crowd sourced voting application for a jewelry designer where the winning piece of jewelry displayed was featured on sale for an entire month.
